W40 steel sections are unique to 'Steel Window Association' members and have been specifically designed to accommodate thicker double glazed units (up to 28 mm) which helps to improve thermal properties. 

As these sections are slightly thicker the doors and windows can be manufactured to larger sizes.  Large windows and doors can be designed to allow for maximum light whilst still given excellent durability. All of our steel window and door systems are bespoke designed to ensure that we are able to meet customer, architects and developers requirements.

Triple glazing is an option where thermal efficiency is of paramount importance. Our steel systems are always galvanised and generally specified with a polyester powder coat finish (choice of colours from our standard range of RAL colours).
