FD30/0 where fire safety is paramount
FD30/0 Steel Doors and Fixed Screens
Fire safety is pertinent in domestic properties in certain instances. Where required our products can achieve a FD30/0 rating as long as the design is within our permitted specification parameters.
We achieved the fire rating to BS EN 1634-1:2014 + A1:2018 for our double doors, single doors and fixed side lights. In fact we achieved beyond 38 minutes but decided to call a stop to the test as we had no reason to try and go any further.

Manufactured in the UK in our own factory, our FD30/0 products meet British Standards and are designed to accommodate 7.2 mm Pyrodur glazing.
Maximum door widths are 900 mm per leaf and so 1800 mm for a double door. We can also add fixed side lights to the either or both sides of the doors. Maximum height is 2400 mm.
A minimum of two horizontal glazing bars are required within the design to ensure compliance with our test report.
All standard RAL colours are available for this product.

Our FD30/0 products were developed by the SWA members and designed to meet the criteria that its members set out. Predominantly aimed at the domestic market to ensure fire safety whilst providing an aesthetic style that can only be achieved by using steel profiles.
